Recuerdos

______________________________________________________________

After much waiting, Giant send me the bike this week ( I'm gonna thank guys from Golpe de Pedal by the custom mount), and the best form to test it is  went to the second race of the Guadalajara´s Cup.

To be honest, more to go, I flew to get there, and the rush are not good counselors. So after breakfast consisting of pasta ("bianco" as the italians say), "crispis" with milk, toast and coffee, leave the House like a "sputnik", and reach the Sotillo after passing through a road with big holes, I prepare and I approach the exit with time. I arrived at the forefront when still left one minute to the start, so perfect.

After the release, we climbed a long and soft uphill, and of course, he was fast (but not both), until it gave to Héctor Guerra and Borja sneak just press go to stop, and see who is the brave following them (Ferrari vs 600, you know the result isn't it?). So, those who had been there, after seeing as they departed the 2 rockets, we decided to go like friends, formed the "bunch" about 20 riders, and as where it goes 1 go 19, we started the mud bath, which goes well for the skin as you know; because otherwise not, but bathe in mud during the first 15 miles. I was doing with a big smile, when suddenly, a treacherous drop was introduced in my left eye, resulting in the above lens come out flying, conclusion: go with a lens in one eye and the other nothing, is similar to go drunk, and it´s more cheaper than a glass on a bar.

Kilometers passed, and as the mud bath worth us was over, we took a track that bordered a swamp (very nice by the way), and as where go 1 go 19, I started to eat something (it was the time of 2nd breakfast), in a section where the difficulty was 0. But the output of the swamp had a surprise, and was a considerable slope of about 200 mtrs. Nacho Vara pushed hard, initiated him to what I gave him continuity, and already in the section above we get we go Vara, Sergio and server, after which other 2 runners joined us. At least, already not going so many, we went from 20 to 5, to start the hardest stretch of the race, and crucial point of the same. It was a climb was long and uncomfortable, because the stones were big and did not let you go quite comfortable, but the bycicle behaved as a champion, only had the failure of twisting a horn to get standing, that me unbalanced, and stayed only with Nacho, while Sergio and another runner were a few meters by front. Thus, ascension did the whole rod and server, quite comfortable and at a good pace, after which, on the way down joined us a teammate of Nacho.

We returned goal bordering the swamp, and other 2 racers which gave us scope, returning to be 5 in the little group, and again, a wide track and glib, so you walk, passing the miles at a good pace and seeing the landscape again, it was nice in that area. And piano piano, we are approaching the last sidewalk, with a lowered chula, we crossed a Brook (well, I laugh, because that has fallen, streams are rivers hehehe), and climbed the final stretch difficult before reaching the last 500 meters of asphalt, where I entered 6.

Conclussions: Good race, good sensations, good bike, be happy!

_________________________________________________________________________

Well, although even there is me llehgado the ultimate bike, unless they have left me one as it comes. The model is a Giant Anthem, whose weight varies between 10 to 15 tons, aluminum depends on the amount of mud that accumulates, with what the work force I have it insured. As was I living anxiously running, on especially when you see your teammates who are already going to the races, I looked for racing around the area for these dates, since to Sangüesa would not climb or joke, and less with the transatlantic. So that digging in the calendar, I saw that the Guadalajara Open began Sunday, and I dared to go to the small hamlet of Gargoles de Arriba, name curious by the way.

After a good breakfast, there we go, with a morning that threatened rain constantly, we load in the car ferry (arrived at the limit of the car P.M.A riding bike) and arrived at Gargoles top 40 minutes until you begin the test.

Under the Arch of departure, I was disgruntled, first, because I knew that the disc would sound like a convict, and second, because the change had been on strike and gave it to not work all morning as he played him. At the start of the race was neutralized by the people (that bit I like to me these neutralized), and after 1 km. approximately US released. As it started with a repechin, took the opportunity to advance many positions (since I had placed badly, is the lack of habit), and put myself in the second group, and start to take the lights to try to catch the first. At that time, it begins to sound a loud yiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii, the damn disk, which brought me crazy to me, and the other participants as told me one (then the tactic of removing them rile ran). As he had no cuentakiloemtros or anything, I devoted myself to tighten until it collapsed; Even so, cost me a win and take the first group, since at the level, the bike weren't a hell. Give you butt to the pedals and not move me, it felt as if where I was, gravity was the double or triple. Now that if, when came down, he enjoyed as a dwarf and bounced back a long time. On the climbs, good, bending the spine, teeth and up.

The race was broken at km 20 approximately 42 who had the test, of course, I got to be in the head nor much less, again, that I weren't and the rest if haha. Between 23 and 26 must admit that you were spent hard time, moment in which David took me, and I took the opportunity to take a gel. And from the 27 approximately up to 42, I took it as a Chrono, solo, shitting me in those 12 aluminum tubes, but enjoying at the same time (that rare is that eh). I squeezed up in the plane and down, because it was up to the very same drag that tank there, full of mud, and also had a tremendous desire to take me a Coke, he had entered me craving so suddenly. With tightening that it squeezes you, pussy, in the absence of 4 km. to the finish line I see 2 competitors ahead of mine, and since we are, decided to tighten, to see if we give them hunting. The truth is that with 12 tubes of concrete, Tin coca-cola and 2 rivals, went as a demoniac up, without removing dish or anything, as if you take a XX1. Fool to the fool, ended up going into goal in the 13th position, and getting a crate in the elite category (3 rd, promise to try to get 1st hehe)

So apparently seen, and taking into account that I got my thing, which was to return to competing in mountain bike, enjoy, and take the can of coca-cola, we can say that it was not a bad morning for nothing. To see if with a bit of luck and if all goes as it must be, this is the first of many podiums. But please, which already come my bike, I don't want to drag tractors.

De estreno. Morcuera: Palito I

Finally, we can brand new our clothes of the Rock Sierra-Integral team. The combination black-red makes the clothes very beautiful, and are very comfortable, specially the pants, maybe the most important part of the cycling equipation.
So, the better way to prove that clothes has good quality, it´s training for 3hrs. 41´, and I can say that this, it´s the best clothes from a team that I ever had.
And today, for the first time this seasson, Turegano and me climbed Morcuera´s Mountain, a tipical ascension in the north of Madrid. The weather conditions was good, with dark clouds over our heads, and with walls of snow on the two sides of the road. I think that in the top of the ascension we were about -1ºC, so, we put our waterproof, and downhill to home.
Finally, today training  finished with 100km. Good day!

600

Well, so can not say that it has been a bad week of training at all. 600 are the kilometers that I have made 6 consecutive days bike riding (now I take 2 rest, but tomorrow we return again to the ring). And a week in which we've had everything from cold days, days with heat without forgetting the week full of wind we have had. A weekend that 6 days has been the most intense, because for example, Sunday made a route of 110 km in the area of the sewage treatment plant of Torrelaguna, an easy, short rise, but that it can be very hard if who you are marked by the pace are Barredo and Pasamontes (and that without naming everyone else going in that Triathlonthat saw you know some who are, and are not lame). At least helped me to see me we are on the line, slowly taking shape. So roll it not I up me more and I leave you with photos:

__________________________________________________________

As mountain bike I doubt that I will before the end of the month of February (with already the first of the Madrid Open the 10th of this month what to fret) and yet when I arrive, I will need a few days in order to adapt to it, in short, that the month of February in terms of mountain bike racing looks dark do notblack. But this does not mean that there will not be career, in principle, acudiré if everything goes as it should go to Castellón run 16 to a social road race, to go even if it is already entering on sidewalk in the competition. And the highlight of this race will be this:

75%

After 9 days without the bike, finally I could go to train two days. The last thursday i coul train 2 and a half hours, and then, on sunday, I went training for three and a half hour. The worse thing is that I´m not totally recuperate, I´m a little ill, so I can´t train as well as I´d like.
On the other hand, this days our roads are snowy, so this days are perfect to take the mountain bike and go to training and...wait a moment, I don´t have  a mountain bike :(
The good thing?, my desire to have one and go out to train is growing up!
